From the 1st May 2024 the NHS prescription charge will be changing to £9.90 per item.
If you regularly pay for NHS prescriptions, you can save money by paying for them in advance via a Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC). A standard PPC allows you to get as many NHS prescriptions as you need, at a set price for 3 or 12 months.
