NHS App
With the increased use and promotion of the NHS App, we are noticing an increase of patients contacting the Surgery with technical issues. Where possible our Systems Support Coordinators will endeavor to help with NHS App queries. However as the App is not owned by GP Practices, there are sometimes issues which are beyond our control and knowledge.
If you have an issue the NHS App has a dedicated technical support team for all queries and are able to see more in depth the technical side of your App. Whereas the GP Surgery can only open, close and reset accounts.
If you have an issue please visit www.nhs.uk/contact-us/nhs-app-contact-us/tell-us-what-you-need-help-with where you can fill out a short form, detailing the issue(s) you are having and a member of technical support will contact you. Alternatively, if you are in the app already you are able to press the “help” button in the top right hand corner as pictured below.
You can also visit the support portal where they have a number of articles: www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/nhs-app-help-and-support/
Patient Access
If you use Patient Access instead of the NHS App and having problems, they also have a dedicated support team who are on hand to help with technical problems. You can contact them a variety of ways below:
